Quendavio began with a habit rather than an idea. Spending the first ten seconds of a stage looking at the board instead of swapping on it changed more about how the stages went than any booster ever did — and nothing written about the genre seemed to mention it. The site is what happened when that observation was taken seriously and followed to its conclusions.

Olivier Gagnon writes it, in Montréal, alone. There is no team, no panel of testers and no intention of turning this into a network of sites.

What happens to a message sent here

1. It arrives in a mailboxNot a ticket system, not a shared inbox and not a queue triaged by anybody else. One person reads it.
2. It gets read the same weekUsually within a couple of business days. Anything landing over a weekend or a Québec statutory holiday waits for the next working day.
3. It gets an answer from the same addressWritten by the person who wrote the pages, not by a template.
4. It is kept for up to two years, then deletedSo that a follow-up months later still has context. Ask for it to go sooner and it goes.

If a week passes with no reply, the message almost certainly did not arrive. Send it again rather than assume it was ignored.

Worth writing about

• A stage that no longer behaves the way a section here describes it.
• A correction of any size — a stale figure, a loose term, a link that has died.
• An order for the Opening Layout Handbook, or a question about one already placed.
• A privacy request under PIPEDA or Law 25: access, correction, withdrawal of consent, deletion.
• A copyright or trade mark matter, handled as set out in the Third-Party Disclaimer.

Outside what this address can reach

A charge on a card, a lost account, a refund request or a game that will not start are all matters for the store and the developer. They own those systems; this site holds no account with either and cannot pass anything along. Going to their support channel first saves days.
